The complaint vividly portrays Mia Goth as deliberately assaulting a background actor during a scene in the film, despite no such directive in the script. James Hunter, the aggrieved actor, has filed a lawsuit accusing Goth of intentionally kicking him in the head while filming for 'Maxxxine.' Alongside Goth, Director Ti West and production studio A24 have also been named in the lawsuit, filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday.

According to the complaint, Hunter was instructed to lie down in the dirt and portray a dead body during a scene. "Goth was supposed to run past Hunter, occasionally stepping over him, glancing down, and continuing her sprint," the complaint details. However, instead of adhering to the script, Goth allegedly kicked Hunter in the head with her boot, leaving him in pain.

When Hunter informed the second assistant director about his headache and neck stiffness, no medical aid was provided as West ordered the filming to continue, as alleged in the suit. The very next day, Hunter claims he was unjustly removed from the production for the remaining two days, despite sustaining a concussion from the alleged assault.

The complaint seeks compensation for battery against Goth, along with wrongful termination claims against A24 and West. Hunter is pursuing a minimum of $250,000 in damages, in addition to punitive damages, in order to seek justice for the alleged mistreatment and injury he suffered on the set of 'Maxxxine.'
