Michael Jackson’s Ex Photographed During Rare Outing

Published: Apr 16 2025

On April 14, Debbie Rowe, the former spouse of the late Michael Jackson, was captured on camera during a rare public appearance in Palmdale, California. Photographs published by the Daily Mail revealed the 66-year-old Rowe seemingly clutching her wallet as she approached her Range Rover and smoothly climbed inside.

This sighting occurred merely a month after the release of "Leaving Neverland 2: Surviving Michael Jackson." According to Slate, the sequel, slightly over 53 minutes in length, serves more as an update than a standalone piece, primarily detailing the endeavors of Wade Robson and James Safechuck to pursue legal avenues against Jackson's estate in the years subsequent to the premiere of the first documentary.

Notably absent from commenting on this follow-up documentary, despite her appearance in the initial "Leaving Neverland" released by HBO in 2019, Rowe has largely shunned the limelight since her divorce from Jackson and his untimely demise in 2009. In 2016, she faced a daunting challenge with a breast cancer diagnosis. "I'm a fighter and always have been," she boldly declared to Entertainment Tonight during that period. Three months later, she shared more insights about her battle, which was first detected during a routine ultrasound.

Rowe successfully completed her final chemotherapy session in January 2017. Celebrating her triumph, Paris Jackson posted on Instagram, "My badass mom, kickin' butt n takin' names. Ain't she f------ fabulous," as reported by People magazine. However, the post has since been removed.

Rowe was married to Jackson between 1996 and 1999, during which they welcomed two children: their daughter Paris, now 27, and son Prince, 28.
