Embarking on motherhood isn't quite featured on Mikayla Nogueira's For You Page just yet. The beloved TikTok influencer recently addressed her fans who had been buzzing with speculation about a potential addition to her and husband Cody Hawken's family.
"If I were pregnant, trust me, you'd be the first to know," Mikayla announced with a chuckle in a June 5 TikTok video. "We haven't even delved into that conversation yet, and honestly, I'm not quite ready. So, please, bear with me a little longer."
While Mikayla, the founder of Point of View Beauty, isn't in a rush to welcome a little one into their world just yet, she couldn't resist having a bit of fun at the expense of the internet trolls.
"For those of you suggesting that I'm longing for a baby just because I've supposedly run out of content ideas and need a 'content baby' – I'm not amused," she said, bursting into laughter. "It's bizarre to think that you'd assume such a thing, and it really offends me that you'd believe I'd ever run out of creative juice. I'm the Content Queen, after all!"
Moreover, Mikayla emphasized that she and Cody, who recently completed a 45-day rehab stint for drug and alcohol addiction in April, are currently prioritizing his health as he navigates his sobriety journey.
"Last week marked Cody's three-month sobriety milestone," she continued, her voice tinged with pride. "For anyone who's been through addiction or knows someone battling it, you know just how remarkable an achievement this is."
Celebrating her husband's triumphs isn't the only focus for Mikayla; she also shared that the couple is investing in the health of their relationship.
"Cody and I have started attending marriage counseling," she explained, her tone serene. "And no, it's not because we're headed for a divorce. It's actually quite beneficial to seek counseling after going through a traumatic and stressful experience together. It's been a real game-changer for us."
Indeed, given the recent positive strides in both their personal and relational lives, Mikayla's optimism for the future shines bright.
"I'm living on cloud nine, let's just put it that way," the 26-year-old added, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "I'm incredibly happy and thrilled for what's to come. This is merely the dawn of my life, and I can't wait to see what the future holds."
