Millie Bobby Brown Shares Next Tattoo Idea Inspired by Jake Bongiovi

May the Force indeed be a guiding light for Millie Bobby Brown as she steps into the tattoo parlor. The actress known for her role in Stranger Things already boasts at least eight ink masterpieces, but her latest revelation hints at a sentimental addition to her collection. During a chat with Collider on November 18th, Millie shared that a beloved line from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back holds a special place in her heart. "I love you" and "I know," exchanged between Han Solo and Princess Leia in Episode V, have become her go-to quote for her husband Jake Bongiovi.

"The other day, I said it to Jake," she recalls with a smile. "He was like, 'I love you,' and I was like, 'I know.' And he was like, 'What are you, Han Solo?' And I was like, 'Yeah.'" The 21-year-old's admiration for this moment is evident, as she adds, "I just love that. I love that line. It's so cute."

If she were to ink this sentiment on her skin, it wouldn't be the first tribute to her relationship with Jake, who shares a baby girl with her. Earlier this year, the Enola Holmes actress debuted a sweet tribute to her husband on her ankle—his initials in small black letters. Moreover, in honor of her Stranger Things character Eleven, she has a tattoo of the number 11 on her left wrist, which has even come in handy during a traffic stop.

"I’ve actually only got pulled over twice before," she shares with a wry laugh during a March 2024 interview with Wired. "And I just showed him the ole [tattoo] and he let me go." She adds with a chuckle, "I don't recommend that, though. I was terrified, actually, the whole time. And I didn't get a ticket, which was great."

Yet, with every perk of fame comes its own set of challenges. Millie is well aware of the public scrutiny that comes with growing up in the limelight. She calls out those who are "so desperate to tear young women down" and urges them to do better.

"I started in this industry when I was 10 years old," she wrote on Instagram in March. "I grew up in front of the world, and for some reason, people can’t seem to grow up with me." She continues, "Instead, they act like I’m supposed to stay frozen in time, like I should still look the way I did on Stranger Things season 1. And because I don’t, I’m now a target."

With a firm resolve, Millie concludes, "Let’s do better. Not just for me, but for every young girl who deserves to grow up without fear of being torn apart for simply existing."
