Holt McCallany, who co-starred in the gripping Netflix series for two seasons alongside Jonathan Groff, recently imparted some eagerly anticipated news to CBR regarding the potential revival of the show—potentially reimagined as a trilogy of feature-length films. In an intimate revelation, the "Waterfront" actor shared, "A few months back, I had a sit-down with David Fincher in his office, and he hinted at the possibility of it resurfacing as three two-hour movies. However, it's still very much up in the air."
McCallany further elaborated, painting a vivid picture of the behind-the-scenes process, "I'm aware that screenwriters are toiling away, but David's seal of approval is crucial. He's incredibly meticulous; it's what makes him, in my opinion, Hollywood's finest director," he said, donning his hat as a fan while promoting "The Iron Claw." "During our meeting, he bestowed upon me a glimmer of hope, but let's just say, it's contingent upon a perfect alignment of cosmic forces."
