On Aug. 11, the 39-year-old actress reportedly submitted a “dissolution of marriage” petition to the Superior Court of California in Los Angeles, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of their separation, according to court documents acquired by Us Weekly. The date of their separation was listed as July 7.

Law and Andreen tied the knot in 2013 and welcomed their beloved daughter, Kinley, into their world in 2018. In her filings, Law reportedly sought joint legal custody of Kinley but requested sole physical custody. Furthermore, she asked the court to terminate any spousal support and for both parties to bear their own attorney's fees.

Playing the character of Jessica Knight in the CBS crime drama NCIS, Law had kept her personal life, including her relationship with Andreen and their daughter, out of the public eye. Consequently, she shared very little about them with her fans.

Last summer, Law offered a rare glimpse into her life, presumed to be with her daughter, during a picturesque trip to Costa Rica. She posted a few snapshots of a child's hand and foot, likely belonging to Kinley, giving fans a taste of her private family moments.

The news of Katrina Law's divorce first appeared on Parade on Aug 13, 2025, marking the end of a 12-year marriage journey that once seemed so promising.
