NFL Star Will Levis’ Mom Says He Paid "Exorbitant" Amount of Money to Investigate Sex Tape Leak

Beth Levis feels for her son, the Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis. The mother recounted the ordeal her son underwent after a "very intimate video" of him and his ex-girlfriend was leaked online and quickly went viral two years ago.

"The first words out of Will's mouth were, 'I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. So sorry, Mom,'" Beth recalled during a May 25 appearance on the Ross Tucker Football Podcast. "It just broke my heart."

Beth emphasized that neither Will nor his then-girlfriend intentionally leaked the video, and that the NFL player went above and beyond to try to rectify the situation.

"Will actually hired a cyber security specialist and private investigator," she explained, "and spent an exorbitant amount of money to try to get to the bottom of this, to try to scrape what they could to make this go away. And ultimately, a lot of the content was taken down."

As for how exactly the intimate video of Will, who was drafted to the Tennessee Titans in 2023, and his ex was obtained, the investigation did yield some explanation.

"We did find out that this content was stolen from his private—either laptop or digital platform, phone, whatever was actually breached and invaded a year or two earlier when he was in college," Beth noted. "We discovered that it was an Eastern European hacking group that is notorious for trying to target attractive couples that they can then expose."

The incident, Beth said, took an emotional toll on Will.

"My husband and I, along with my parents and his parents and generations, have worked so hard to instill in our kids a foundation of morals and ethics, preaching integrity and how important it is to represent yourself with your last name," Beth said. "Not just as yourself, but all of those relatives and your family members."

"So," she added, "it really hurt Will because he knew that this was going to be something that probably a lot of people would see that wasn't meant for anybody else's eyes."

The incident also led to online harassment of Will's younger sister, then age 15, at her high school. Both events encouraged Beth to reframe her lifestyle brand Chill Life into a mental health-based mission that encourages individuals to take breaks from their phones and being online.

Ross, for his part, congratulated Beth on turning the family's pain into something positive.

"I'm truly sorry you and your family had to go through both of those experiences to get to this point," the NFL alum said. "But what I will say is you are doing what you set out to do."
