Nicola Peltz Beckham is allowing her tattoos to speak for her. Just hours before her husband, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, issued a scathing statement detailing his rift with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, in which he declared that he had no interest in reconciliation, the Lola actress appeared to offer her own cryptic message on familial bonds.
In a post on Instagram on January 18th, Nicola, 31, posed for a mirror selfie in a blue bikini top that revealed a tattoo on her upper rib. The ink, written in Yiddish, translates to the phrase "family first," according to the Daily Mail.

The following day, Brooklyn, 26, spoke out about his long-rumored feud with his mom and dad, alleging that the couple—who also share kids Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14—had been "trying endlessly" to drive a wedge between him and Nicola throughout their relationship, including at their April 2022 nuptials.
"My wife has been consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard we've tried to come together as one," he wrote in a lengthy post on his Instagram Stories. "My mum has repeatedly invited women from my past into our lives in ways that were clearly intended to make us both uncomfortable."
Additionally, Brooklyn accused David, 50, and Victoria, 51, of prioritizing "public promotion and endorsements above all else."
"Brand Beckham comes first," he explained. "Family 'love' is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo opp, even if it's at the expense of our professional obligations."
As a result, Brooklyn noted that he and Nicola planned to lead their own household with a different set of values.
"My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation," he concluded. "All we want is peace, privacy, and happiness for us and our future family."
