Nikki Glaser and Judd Apatow are not just funny people; they're more than that. In fact, after the director of "Knocked Up" quipped that the comedian used to babysit his and Leslie Mann's children, Maude Apatow, 28, and Iris Apatow, 23, while presenting at the 2026 Golden Globes, Nikki confirmed their history.
"You know, Nikki Glaser used to be our babysitter," Judd declared during the Jan. 11 award show. "That's true, she was our babysitter and she was like, 'I do stand-up comedy.'"
To which, the star of "I Feel Pretty" confirmed his statement alongside a screenshot shared to her Instagram Stories on Jan. 12, writing over the visual, "100% true. Summer 2007."
Nikki has previously spoken about her time with Iris and Maude, noting that working as a nanny was not her ideal job. "I babysat for Judd Apatow when I lived in LA," she told Vulture in an interview published in January 2011. "It was a great gig, but it pained me to be around such greatness and only be known as a nanny."
She added, "I'll never love your kid as much as you do. It's impossible."
And the comedian couldn't help but praise Maude, Iris, and their family more, as she revealed how observing their family further inspired her career path. "The kids were super-funny," she told The Washington Post that same month. "It made me wish I grew up in a comedy household."
But that isn't the end of their friendship, as Nikki is set to work with Judd once again. In October, The Hollywood Reporter reported that she will star, co-write, and produce an "edgy" romantic comedy with Judd for Universal Pictures.
Until then, Nikki put her comedy chops on display as she returned as the host of the Golden Globes for the second consecutive year. Shortly after her gig, she celebrated with an Instagram post, writing, "the best job with the best people."
