Nikki Glaser, acknowledging her vibrant existence amidst a touch of ill health, has categorically ruled out space travel. Upon being honored in TIME's prestigious list of the 100 Most Influential People of 2025, the comedian revealed her grand aspirations, which encompass "penning more melodies" and indulging in "street photography," but a journey into the cosmos is conspicuously absent from her bucket list.

"Just kidding, absolutely not, I harbor no desire to venture into space," Nikki confided exclusively to E! News during the TIME100 Gala held in New York City on April 24. "It's not just the potential backlash I foresee; I genuinely lack any inclination towards space travel."

Preferring to steer clear of any whimsical escapades, she yearns to bask in the glow of her accomplishments, particularly after a banner year marked by her hosting gig at the 2025 Golden Globes. "I crave savoring the fruits of my success. It feels like I've been perpetually striving to uphold it, like a guardian of sorts, without truly relishing any of it. It's as if I'm perpetually combating its ebb," she elaborated. "Now, I long to unwind and embrace it a little more freely."

For an in-depth glimpse into Nikki's world, tune in to E! News tonight, April 24, at 11 p.m.

Currently embarking on her "Alive and Unwell" tour, Nikki's quip was prompted by the contentious Blue Origin space mission of April 14, heralded as the maiden all-female space voyage. The ensemble, comprising Jeff Bezos' fiancée Lauren Sánchez, Katy Perry, Gayle King, former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen, and film producer Kerianne Flynn, faced flak from celebrities and the public alike for their planned 11-minute journey adorned in full glam.

Actress Olivia Munn, while guest co-hosting Today With Jenna & Friends on April 3, deemed the expedition "somewhat indulgent," highlighting the exorbitant cost amid widespread food insecurity. "It's an astronomical sum to reach space while many can't even afford basic necessities like eggs," she remarked.

Emily Ratajkowski echoed similar sentiments in a TikTok video posted on April 14, stating, "Look at the state of our world and ponder the resources squandered to propel these women into space."

Meanwhile, others, much like Nikki, poked fun at the trip with a touch of humor. Amy Schumer joked in an Instagram video on April 14, "Folks, at the eleventh hour, they added me to the space mission, and I'm blasting off! I was riding the subway when I got the text asking, 'Do you fancy a trip to space?' So, here I am, headed to the stars!"
