In response to a TikTok video shared by Lilah on December 19th, in which her father—co-creator alongside twins Josh Pate and Shannon Burke—wrapped up the fifth season, a fan inquired if Jonas had screamed at her "like he did the employee" in the comments. Lilah replied with a heart emoji, "Don't believe everything you see online." The 22-year-old actress, who plays recurring character Peeler and starred in her dad's show The Runarounds, ensured to highlight her dad's achievements as he exited the director's chair after wrapping Netflix's hit series. She captioned the clip, "The face of a dude who just wrapped OBX. Champion."
As fans mourned the upcoming conclusion of the series—starring Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Drew Starkey, Madison Bailey, Rudy Pankow, Jonathan Daviss, and Carlacia Grant—in the comments, Lilah praised Jonas for his work. "My biggest role model," she wrote. "So beyond proud."
In October, Jonas was accused of yelling and shaking the PA during filming in Croatia, as reported by TMZ and People. Chase reportedly separated the pair, while Madelyn attempted to deescalate the situation. E! Most recently, there were whispers that Madison and Rudy didn't get along while filming season four, his final season on the show. In fact, there was speculation that the costars—whose characters were romantically involved—used body doubles to film the PDA-filled finale due to an ongoing feud. However, Madison seemingly shut down speculation after she posted a photo with Rudy as well as costars Chase and Jonathan, captioning it "P4L."
