At the venerable age of 76, this rock legend is gearing up for his swansong concert, a momentous reunion with his former Black Sabbath comrades Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward, scheduled to take place on July 5, 2025.In tandem with this milestone, Ozzy is collaborating with Paramount+ to unleash a poignant new documentary titled "No Escape From Now," which will chronicle his valiant struggle with Parkinson's disease, alongside other health challenges, and culminate in his farewell performance, as reported by Variety.

His beloved wife, Sharon, has previously shed light on the profound impact of Ozzy's health issues on his career, lamenting that he "was denied the chance to bid adieu to his friends and fans alike." As the family was compelled to cancel numerous engagements due to his failing health, he was left feeling that his career lacked a definitive "full stop." "This concert marks his closing full stop," she clarified, referring to the upcoming event.

Ozzy himself has opened up about the impending conclusion of his performing legacy, penning a heartfelt message. "For so many years, my fans have stood by my side, and I yearn to express my heartfelt gratitude and bid them a proper farewell," he wrote. "The Villa Park show embodies this sentiment." Furthermore, he revealed that "making music and crafting two albums" served as a lifeline during some of the darkest periods he has ever endured. "There have been moments when I feared my time was up," he confessed. "Without music, I would have succumbed to madness."

In January 2020, Ozzy publicly disclosed his Parkinson's diagnosis, nearly two decades after first receiving it. Additionally, multiple spinal surgeries stemming from a quad bike accident early in the 2000s have hampered his mobility. The forthcoming documentary promises to "uncover the heart-wrenching setbacks" Ozzy has faced since his fateful fall in 2019, which necessitated further surgery to rectify dislodged metal rods in his spine.

"This film serves as an unvarnished narrative of Ozzy's recent years," Sharon elaborated. "It showcases the immense hardships he has endured and the remarkable courage he has demonstrated in grappling with multiple severe health conditions, Parkinson's included. It captures the stark reality of his life today."
