Pedro Pascal, celebrated for his unassuming and amiable demeanor, stands as one of Hollywood's most beloved figures, renowned for his seemingly effortless camaraderie with fellow actors. Yet, in a recent interview, the 50-year-old actor confessionally unveiled a lesser-known facet of his personality—his "snappy" side, which emerged during the promotional shoots for his latest venture, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, co-starring Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

When The Spill podcast inquisitively probed both Pedro and Vanessa about the "most intriguing revelation" they discovered about each other on set, an endearing scene unfolded. Vanessa, currently expecting her first child, couldn't suppress her giggles, exuding a palpable sense of embarrassment, as Pedro, with sheepish eyes, directed his gaze towards her. He then boldly proclaimed, "Indeed, I'm a grump! But being a grump doesn't qualify me as a villain!"

Vanessa, pointing to Pedro's ever-present grin, clarified her laughter, stating, "He's a perpetual smiler! But come 6 PM, if we extend our work hours, he transforms into a teeny-tiny grump. A bit cranky, if you will. Yet, this phase lasts but an hour before it wanes."

Pedro, determined to share the unvarnished truth, continued, "We were involved in these promo shoots, working relentlessly throughout the day." Vanessa corroborated, revealing their routine 18-hour workdays. Pedro further elaborated, "Joe and Vanessa would voice their exhaustion, saying, 'We're utterly worn out!'" Vanessa nodded in agreement, prompting Pedro to share more.

"Vanessa's pregnancy and their weariness would rile me up, igniting my protective instincts, and before I knew it, I was like a coiled spring ready to snap," he admitted. "As soon as we reached the set, I was intent on wrapping things up swiftly. Meanwhile, Vanessa and Joseph would propose, 'Why not give this a shot? How about trying that? Shall we discuss this a bit longer…?'"

Vanessa, still chuckling, concluded, "And then, he morphs into a snappy turtle." Pedro recalled, with a hug for his costar, "And you said, 'Don't snap at me!'" Vanessa, laughing heartily, admitted to pointing her finger at Pedro as though scolding a mischievous child.
