Pink is raising a glass in honor of the Big Apple, as her family—including husband of 20 years, Carey Hart, and children Willow, 14, and Jameson, 9—officially settles in New York City. This move is fueled by a genuine desire to give Willow the opportunity to delve into the world of theater and experience the magic of Broadway.

On the March 2 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, Pink shared her motivation for the move, stating, "We actually moved here because I am an amazing mom." The singer further demonstrated her dedication to her daughter's dreams by joining her on stage for a cover of "Hopeless War" from The Outsiders musical during the show's Kelly-oke segment, now rechristened Cameo-oke.
Additionally, Pink's proximity to the show's NYC filming location allowed her to step in as guest host for the first week of March, as Kelly prepares to conclude her seven-season run. However, it's important to note that Pink's role was temporary. In a since-deleted Instagram video, Pink clarified, "I'm not taking over The Kelly Clarkson Show." She explained that her involvement was a fun gesture for her friend Kelly and that she wasn't pursuing a talk show.
Pink, who recently denied rumors of a split with Carey, previously expressed her excitement about stepping into Kelly's shoes. "I've played stadiums and danced on the side of buildings, but stepping in to guest host for my girl Kelly Clarkson is a brand new feat!" she said in a February statement. "Let's celebrate women, joy, resilience, and whatever comes else comes our way!"
