Plankmore, a fresh-faced graduate of the legal arena, emerges as Rudy's steadfast companion in this gripping tale, which was initially embraced by the network in June and is deeply rooted in the legendary novel by John Grisham, bearing the same captivating title.

Iseman, who has captivated audiences in "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and the chilling anthology "American Horror Stories," is poised to enchant once more in the upcoming film "Witchboard." Her impressive resume boasts credits in the exhilarating "Jumanji" franchise, the emotionally charged "Fear of Rain," the adventurous "Knights of the Zodiac," the inspiring "Clouds," the haunting "Nocturne," and the spine-tingling "Annabelle Comes Home."

Represented by IAG, Principal Entertainment LA, and Yorn Levine, Iseman's talent continues to shine brightly. Michael Seitzman, the mastermind behind the series, serves as both writer and executive producer, while Jason Richman co-writes the pilot episode with Seitzman and also holds an executive producer credit. Adding to this esteemed team are John Grisham himself, David Gernert, and Jason Blum, all executive producers, ensuring that the spirit of the original novel is meticulously preserved.

Produced by the formidable duo of Lionsgate Television and Blumhouse Television, this series marks yet another collaboration between two studios that have recently embarked on a multi-film journey, with Blumhouse reimagining horror classics from Lionsgate's storied library. Their previous collaboration, "Imaginary," set the stage for even greater heights, and the announcement to revitalize the 90s horror phenomenon "The Blair Witch Project" as their first project under this multi-film deal has sent shivers down spines.
