Coi Leray's tiny best buddy has gracefully entered the world. The rapper behind the hit "Players" welcomed her very first child, a bundle of joy in the form of a little girl, whom she shares with her ex, Trippie Redd. On June 16th, she joyfully announced the news via her Instagram story, offering a sneak peek of her daughter, affectionately named Miyoco. In the heartwarming snapshot, Miyoco, the daughter of the "Twinnem" rapper, wraps her tiny hand around her mom's finger, encapsulating the pure essence of mother-daughter bond. Although her face remains concealed, Miyoco's lush head of hair and a portion of her blush pink Polo onesie steal the spotlight.
Coi, born Coi Leray Collins, while refraining from divulging further specifics about her daughter's arrival date, has opened up about her journey into motherhood. She provided a glimpse into her baby shower, adorned with a sea of pink and Hello Kitty decorations, adorned with pillows bearing her daughter's name. Reflecting on the May celebration, Coi effusively stated, "Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate my baby girl."
Earlier in January, Coi joyfully announced her pregnancy with Trippie, posting a snapshot of him (Michael Lamar White IV) cradling her burgeoning baby bump. Alongside the image, she penned, "I'm a rock star mommy. We're ready for 2025." Sharing her pregnancy update, she added, "I'm over four months along. I'm just incredibly small, of course."
The duo, who first sparked romance in 2019, revealed their pregnancy shortly after announcing their reconciliation in August 2024, following their turbulent split in 2020. However, it seems the pair's relationship has taken another turn, reportedly ending once again this spring.
Prior to Miyoco's arrival, Coi couldn't contain her excitement about becoming a first-time mom and how it had transformed her perspective. In an interview with The Shade Room published on May 8th, she shared, "I keep God first, always. I have so many reasons to be happy. I'm about to embark on this incredible journey of motherhood, welcoming a little girl into my life. She has given me a whole new kind of motivation."
"I need to be strong," she emphasized. "I understand that life will throw its challenges at me, but ultimately, I have someone to raise who will look up to me. I aspire to be the best example for her."
