A fresh chapter in the love lives of Teddi Mellencamp and her estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave, is unfolding with a new flame in his camp. Almost a year after the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum filed for divorce, Edwin, 48, has publicly debuted his latest romantic interest on social media. In a photo shared on his Instagram Stories on October 27th, he posed in an all-black formal ensemble, his arm wrapped around a stunning female companion also clad in a black floor-length gown with revealing cutouts. The entrepreneur tagged his date—whose name appears to be Elsa—with the caption, "About last night."
Meanwhile, Teddi, 44, and mother to kids Slate, 13, Cruz, 11, and Dove, 5, with Edwin, has also re-entered the dating scene in recent months. In June, she revealed she had started dating a new man who was "taking good care" of her amid her battle with stage 4 cancer. "He's nice," she said on an episode of her and Tamra Judge's Two Ts In a Pod podcast. "He's not married, he doesn't have any kids." Although the reality star never revealed her mystery man's identity, the relationship didn't last long; they broke up just one month after going public, with Teddi citing her health struggles as the main reason for the split. (Teddi has since shared that she now has "no detectable cancer" in her body.)
In July, while speaking on their Diamonds in the Rough podcast with cohost Erika Jayne, Teddi shared that "it started getting to the point where it was starting to get a little bit more serious, and I was like, 'I don't have the capacity for this right now.' I don't feel my best, so when I have downtime, I want to rest."
Teddi announced her separation from Edwin in November after 13 years of marriage, explaining that she made her decision "after a great deal of care and consideration." "My priority is my children," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "And ensuring that every care is taken with their privacy and wellbeing throughout this new chapter."
