Under the warm embrace of the Australian sun, the brightest stars of the dance world, Robert Irwin and Witney Carson, have come together once again, fulfilling their promise to visit wildlife conservationist Robert in his homeland. And what's more delightful? Witney brought her dance crew along for the adventure!
In a mesmerizing Instagram video from January 13th, Witney, her husband Carson McAllister, and their two delightful sons, Leo (5) and Jet (3), all sported matching khaki shirts, denim, and sunglasses as they strolled through the picturesque grounds of the Australia Zoo. Meanwhile, Robert—in his iconic attire—appeared behind them, adding an extra dash of charm to the scene.

Teasing the reunion, Robert captioned the video, "We are BACK. Team IrWINit reunited @australiazoo." To further sweeten the deal, Robert shared a series of enchanting photos on his carousel showcasing Leo and Jet interacting lovingly with the zoo's animals, and Witney feeding some delightful lemurs. Alongside these delightful images—which also included a group shot with a majestic giraffe—Robert wrote, "The gang is back together."
Witney captured the heartwarming moment of her reunion with Robert on her Instagram Story on January 13th. She reposted a video of the two sharing an affectionate embrace. Beside the video, she wrote, "My buddy!!!! Missed you so much @robertirwinphotography." The dancing pro also documented her family's enchanting day at the zoo, which included a personal tour by Robert, giraffe feeding, and an opportunity to witness Robert in action during the thrilling Crocoseum show, interacting with fearsome crocodiles.
After triumphantly taking home the Mirrorball trophy during the live DWTS finale on November 25th, Robert hinted at their reunion down under. He told E! News at the time, "Witney's coming down to Australia," with Witney adding, "You're not getting rid of me that easy." Indeed, though they gracefully glided across the dance floor during the competition—in which his sister Bindi Irwin also triumphed in 2015—Robert's heart remained firmly rooted at the Australia Zoo throughout the competition.
"I am here to represent my charity Wildlife Warriors, my work at the Australia Zoo, my passion for conservation," Robert shared with E! News after the finale. "But now, I've been able to write my own legacy with Witney as we tell stories of positivity, vulnerability, passion, fun, and all of this. And I'll tell you what? There is no one that deserves it more than Witney."
