Rosalía refuses to be confined by labels. More than a year after "Euphoria" actress Hunter Schafer affirmed their "past romantic entanglement," the enchanting vocalist behind "Bizcochito" deliberated on whether she desired to categorize her sexual orientation during an interview with Elle, published on August 14. "No, I impose no such constraints upon myself," Rosalía articulated. "My mantra is freedom; it is my compass."

It was precisely this sentiment of liberty that initially spurred Hunter to speak her truth, revealing their five-month-long relationship in 2019. Addressing the persistent rumors in a GQ interview in April 2024, Hunter exclaimed, "Speculations have swirled for far too long. A part of us yearns for closure, while another fierce fragment insists, 'This is nobody else's concern!'" She added, regarding the relief of putting an end to years of conjecture, "I'm delighted to share this, and I believe she feels the same."

Though Rosalía later embarked on a romance with musician Rauw Alejandro, which culminated in their engagement's end in 2023 after a three-year journey together, Hunter emphasized that their bond remained "exceptionally beautiful," clarifying, "She's family, regardless."

This fortunate alignment is all the more significant as the duo prepares to co-star in the upcoming season of "Euphoria," alongside Zendaya and Jacob Elordi. Speaking to Elle, Rosalía expressed, "I have wonderful friends there. It brings a heartwarming comfort to reconnect amidst our shared environment."

Moreover, Rosalía isn't the only one on set thrilled about her debut; series creator Sam Levinson shares her excitement. "I adore unleashing her onto a scene," Sam revealed to Elle. "I grant her the freedom to toy with words, emotions, in both English and Spanish. I hesitate to direct her first, for her innate instincts are mesmerizing, charismatic, and hilarious." He concluded, beaming, "In every scene we shoot, I find myself smiling behind the camera."
