Sabrina Carpenter is basking in the glow of a monumental musical milestone, as her latest album, Man's Best Friend, has officially been conferred the prestigious platinum certification by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). Just three months after its release, the seventh album has surpassed the remarkable threshold of 1 million units sold or streamed in the United States.

On a heartfelt Instagram post on November 13th, the Grammy-winning artist shared the news with her fans, celebrating this auspicious occasion with gusto. "What in the world? Man's Best Friend just went platinum [accompanied by two heart emojis]," she wrote in the caption. "Thank you for listening to this album. I love you guys so much."

The brief yet poignant message was accompanied by the controversial cover of the album, adorned with the iconic platinum RIAA plaque that artists receive to commemorate this achievement. Fans were quick to congratulate the Please Please Please chart-topper, with one writing, "so deserved!! I didn't realize it got that certification so fast, that's insane for a single." Another gushed, "Honestly, I think it's one of her best songs production-wise." A third remarked, "incredibly proud," followed by a fourth raving, "we knew this would happen on the first listen [blue heart emoji] congrats."

As Carpenter, 26, marked this latest milestone, she approached the finale of her fifth concert tour and her first headlining arena tour. The Short n’ Sweet tour, launched in late September, is set to wrap up after six more shows across multiple cities.
