Hulu's highly anticipated reboot of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" is rounding out its ensemble cast, joining the already announced powerhouse leads, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ryan Kiera Armstrong. The fresh faces set to become series regulars encompass Faly Rakotohavana as Hugo, Ava Jean as Larkin, Sarah Bock as Gracie, Daniel Di Tomasso as Abe, and Jack Cutmore-Scott stepping into the shoes of Mr. Burke.

Rakotohavana, who has previously shined in "Unprisoned" and "Secret Society of Second Born Royals," brings a wealth of talent to his role. Jean, having made waves in "A Week Away" and "Law & Order: SVU," adds another layer of depth to the cast. Bock, best remembered for her stirring performance in season two of "Severance," joins the fray, while Di Tomasso, whose credits include "Witches of East End" and "Major Crimes," brings his unique charm. Cutmore-Scott, recognized for his roles in "Oppenheimer" and "Frasier," rounds out this stellar lineup.

Representation-wise, Rakotohavana is managed by Media Artists Group, The ESI Network, and Katz Public Relations, while Jean is represented by Thruline Entertainment, Evolve Artists Agency, and Yorn Levine Barnes. Bock is under the wing of Kutalent Agency, Amplified, and Hansen Jacobson. Di Tomasso is handled by CESD and Authentic Talent & Literary Management, and Cutmore-Scott by UTA, Independent Talent Group, Entertainment 360, and Hansen Jacobson.

The reboot's pilot, first announced in February, shrouds its plot in mystery, but whispers from industry insiders told The Hollywood Reporter that the reimagined "Buffy" will center around a new slayer, portrayed by Armstrong. Gellar, who originated the iconic role in the WB-turned-UPN series spanning from 1997 to 2003, will make a triumphant return in a recurring capacity.

Nora and Lilla Zuckerman will pen the pilot, serve as showrunners, and executive produce under the banners of 20th Television and Searchlight. Chloé Zhao, directing under her Book of Shadows production shingle, will also executive produce. Gellar, beyond her acting duties, will executive produce alongside Gail Berman. Fran Kuzui and Kaz Kuzui, via Suite B, and Dolly Parton, via Sandollar, are also attached as executive producers. Notably, Berman, the Kuzuis, and Parton's Sandollar all held executive producer credits on the original "Buffy" series.

Originating as a 1992 film starring Kristy Swanson and penned by Joss Whedon, directed by Fran Kuzui, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" evolved into a television series five years later, with Gellar leading an ensemble that included Nicholas Brendon, Alyson Hannigan, Charisma Carpenter, Anthony Stewart Head, David Boreanaz, Seth Green, and James Marsters. Boreanaz continued his journey as Angel in the spinoff series, "Angel," which aired on The WB for five seasons.

Gellar marked the official commencement of the reboot's production by sharing a snapshot of her name tag and script from the initial table read on Instagram. Captioning the post, "Baby steps," she ignited excitement among fans eager to witness the next chapter in the legendary tale of Buffy.
