Sarah Ferguson continues to bear the consequences of her past association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, as a new report by GB News has revealed that her charity, Sarah's Trust, will be shutting down indefinitely. This decision comes after newly released Epstein files revealed that she had allegedly asked the late financier to "marry" her.

The personal exchanges, reportedly sent around 2009 and 2010, show Ferguson thanking and praising Epstein in a seemingly intimate manner following his release from jail. Other emails suggest discussions about marriage in a casual or joking tone, with Ferguson writing, "You are a legend." She added, "I really don't have the words to describe my love and gratitude for your generosity and kindness."

The charity, which was launched in 2020 to support frontline workers during the Covid-19 pandemic by providing food, protective gear, and other essential supplies, has now confirmed that it will cease operations in light of these controversial revelations.

In a statement, a spokesman for the charity said, "Our chair, Sarah Ferguson, and the board of trustees have agreed with regret that the charity will be closing for the foreseeable future. This decision has been under discussion for some months. We remain extremely proud of the work of the trust over recent years. We have partnered with over 60 other charities in over 20 countries, providing education, healthcare, crisis response, and environmental projects. During the Covid pandemic, we delivered over 150,000 aid parcels and provided medical aid and training for those affected by the war in Ukraine. We also delivered education to over 200 children in Ghana."
