Blanco, aged 37, revealed that Gomez harbors myriad visions for her dream wedding, stating, "It feels like she conceives a fresh wedding scenario in her mind each day." He continued, embracing their philosophy of "living one day at a time," and confessed that they are still immersed in the euphoria of their engagement. "Literally, during our conversation, she was sitting there, lost in admiration of her engagement ring," he noted.

Gomez, 32, echoed this sentiment, adding, "This is a truly magical moment for us, and we're pouring our hearts into this album, translating our feelings and sharing them with the world. That's my primary focus right now."

In December 2024, Gomez joyously announced that Blanco had proposed with an exquisite oval-shaped ring adorned with a marquise diamond estimated to weigh six carats. The proposal took place during a romantic picnic that included a visit to Taco Bell. When questioned about the seemingly mundane inclusion of Taco Bell, Blanco explained that it simply reflects their everyday life together.

"There's no grandiose spectacle involved. We're incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by wonderful people, and we're just enjoying every moment," he told Rolling Stone. "It feels like we got engaged yesterday, yet it also feels like it was decades ago. I've known her since she was 18, and it's like we've already been through so much. By the time we started dating, it was like, whoa. My biggest regret is that we didn't start this journey sooner. But I know it was meant to be, and it was perfect."

Delving deeper into their collaborative LP, which drops on Friday, March 21st, Gomez shared how working with Blanco on new music served as a deeply therapeutic experience. Her last album, "Rare," was released half a decade ago.

"To be honest, I was feeling frustrated and uncertain about my musical direction. We've been close for a while, and I would confide in him," Gomez admitted.

Blanco added, "She'd wake up, and I'd have a pen ready. I'd jot down her thoughts, and then we'd head to another room to create magic. It turned into songs. It was incredibly cathartic and therapeutic."
