The notion that a bride is confined to a single wedding dress is a myth, and Selena Gomez proved it beyond the shadow of a doubt. On her September 27th nuptials with music producer Benny Blanco, the Wizards of Waverly Place alum donned three exquisite white gowns, each crafted by Ralph Lauren and imbued with intricate details.
For the initial look and photographs, Selena wore an embroidered satin gown, while for the ceremony, she slipped into a lacy full-length dress with a halter neckline. And for the reception, she donned an ankle-length, off-the-shoulder gown, all of which were tailored to perfection.

But her favorite, as she revealed on The Jennifer Hudson Show on October 21st, was the lace ceremony gown. "This was my favorite dress," she exclaimed, as Jennifer Hudson displayed a photo of the gown, declaring it "gorgeous." And Benny, 37, couldn't help but share a glimpse of his beloved's look on his Instagram post the following day, captioning it, "I married a real-life Disney princess."
The Ralph Lauren brand even shared a sneak peek into the making of Selena's custom "silk-lace ceremony gown," which boasted a hand-painted corset with crystal and lace embellishments. More than 300 hand-shaped lace flowers adorned the cascading train, personalized with an embroidered inscription of the couple's initials and wedding date.
As Selena put it on the talk show, "It was a dream." And indeed, it was a dream come true for the 33-year-old as she walked down the aisle in her custom-made gown, looking every bit the fairytale bride she always dreamed of being.
