Selena Gomez graced the opening night of Demi Lovato's "It's Not That Deep" Tour on Monday evening, supporting her friend and fellow performer at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida. This marked the start of Demi's first major arena tour since 2018, and it was a spectacular display of talent and friendship.

After the concert, Selena shared a series of black-and-white photos of Demi on her Instagram Stories, gushing about her friend's performance. "I am in tears. @ddlovato - this was hands down one of the best shows. Oh, and the VOCALS? Psh *blown away*," she wrote in the caption. The 33-year-old also uploaded a cute snap of herself and Demi hugging backstage, adding a heart emoji.
Demi re-posted the sweet photo and replied, "Thank you so much for coming!!! Loved seeing you." In addition, the "Confident" star uploaded a video of Selena dancing at the gig while wearing a sweatshirt with the slogan, "It's Not That Deep."
Demi and Selena have a long history together, having both appeared as child stars on "Barney & Friends" in the early 2000s. Last month, Demi reflected on her friendship with Selena on the "Baby, This is Keke Palmer" podcast. "What was beautiful is that Selena and I had a friendship prior to Disney Channel because we were actually on Barney together," she recounted. "So, I felt this safety when I came into the Disney Channel, having a built-in friendship there already. I'm so grateful for that, and I will always be grateful for the friendship that I have and continue to have with her."
Demi's next show is in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, and it's sure to be another memorable performance filled with heart and talent.
