Amidst the aftermath of a heart-wrenching tragedy, Spencer Pratt offers his fans a rare insight into the world of content creation. Just seven days after a wildfire ravaged the Pacific Palisades home he shared with Heidi Montag, the former 'Hills' star opened up about his earnings from social media platforms in an interview with Variety, published on January 17th.

"I raked in around $4,000 this week on TikTok," Spencer revealed, "but on TikTok Live, where supporters can directly contribute, I think I might have earned close to $20,000. It's phenomenal, truly life-altering. It underscores the immense power of individual patrons who stand by you and believe in you."

The 41-year-old went on to emphasize, "What's most impactful is that this support doesn't hinge on ads, AI, or algorithms; it's real humans wanting to give. It's unbelievable, truly incredible."

Ironically, Spencer's interview saw the light of day just a day before TikTok became inaccessible to nearly 170 million U.S. users due to a law aiming to ban it over national security concerns. The Chinese-owned platform issued a statement on January 19th via X, stating, "In coordination with our service providers, TikTok is working diligently to restore service."

This development follows President-elect Donald Trump's call to keep the app operational, announcing on Truth Social, "I will issue an executive order on Monday to extend the deadline before the law's restrictions take effect, allowing us to broker a deal that safeguards our national security."

On January 8th, Spencer took to social media to share the devastating news that his and Heidi's house had perished in the Palisades Fire, one of several wildfires that erupted across Southern California earlier that month, decimating much of their neighborhood. The reality TV personality, who co-parents sons Gunner, 7, and Ryker, 2, with Heidi, also posted videos documenting their family's evacuation and the heart-wrenching destruction of their home.

"I know people might think, 'You're rich, you'll be fine' (wishful thinking)," he penned on TikTok. "Everything in our house was the fruit of Heidi's and my relentless hustle."

Meanwhile, fans have rallied around the couple, responding to Spencer's plea to stream Heidi's 2010 album 'Superficial' to bolster their revenue. "Thank you to everyone who propelled us to the iTunes charts," Heidi said in an emotional TikTok video posted on January 13th. "Thank you for the overwhelming love and support for my music, for standing by us during this devastating time and turning it into a blessing. Your help in supporting us means the world."

She continued, "For helping us rebuild, for encouraging us, for giving us hope, faith, and excitement amidst such darkness. Thank you so much, especially since today marks the 15th anniversary of 'Superficial'; the timing is surreal, beyond words."
