As the critically acclaimed Netflix series "Stranger Things" nears its conclusion, executive producer Shawn Levy is teasing the final chapter of the story, declaring it to be "as good as any TV series finale I've seen in my life, with a resolution to the enduring Jancy Stancy controversy." He refers to the intricate web of Nancy Wheeler, Steve Harrington, and Jonathan Byers' characters, and the ultimate choice that will be made between them.

Levy reflects on the show's remarkable journey, which has spanned nearly a decade. "There was an underlying bittersweetness that permeated the entire production, as we knew how special this series was," he shares. "We understood that these connections would endure forever, but we also knew it was coming to an end. The smile with tears in your eyes, that feeling, was very prevalent all year long."

With season five reportedly drawing 59.6 million viewers at its premiere, it has become Netflix's top English-language show. Levy sheds light on the show's success, emphasizing that "there's so much talk about the '80s, the monsters, and the music, but I believe the secret sauce is the fact that it's epic cinematic storytelling with very intimate character stories."

"It's the combination of the huge and the very small and personal that I think is the magic," Levy notes. And with "Stranger Things" Vol. 2 set to be released on December 25th, fans can expect a final chapter that encapsulates both the grand and the intimate, ensuring a truly unforgettable conclusion to this beloved series.
