Sydney Sweeney is clarifying the status of her love life, putting an end to the speculation. The renowned "Euphoria" actress has officially confirmed her split from Jonathan Davino, two months after various media outlets reported that the couple had called off their engagement and parted ways. Moreover, in her first public discussion about the breakup, Sydney acknowledged that she is indeed single, stating, "I'm discovering new facets of myself and cherishing quality time with my friends," she added in her interview with the Sunday Times, published on May 31. "And I'm absolutely loving it."
Sydney and Jonathan, who began their relationship in 2018 and even collaborated professionally, with him co-producing the 2023 film "Anyone But You" featuring Sydney alongside Glen Powell, have shared a journey filled with professional and personal entanglements. Following the buzz surrounding their on-screen chemistry, rumors of a romance swirled, which both parties, including Jonathan's mother, consistently denied.
"It's heartwarming to witness fans falling in love with our characters and showing immense support for our on-screen endeavors," Sydney expressed. "Glen and I have a deep admiration for each other, and we were thrilled with the reception our film received."
The bond between the 27-year-old actress and Glen, who recently reunited in Texas for his sister's wedding, remains unshaken. "Spending countless hours together fosters a close connection, where you share everything—work, life, family, friends," Sydney shared. "He's always there for me, and I'm there for him."
Recently, Sydney was also spotted spending time with another co-star, Brandon Sklenar, from the movie "The Housemaid." The duo was photographed enjoying each other's company at the Stagecoach music festival in Southern California in late April.
As she embraces the single life post-breakup, Sydney has forged a new bond with a German Shepherd puppy named Sully Bear, who has joined her older dog Tank. "Introducing Sully Bear," Sydney captioned a photo dump on April 21. "In just two weeks, he's become my set best friend, bowling partner, nap buddy, fellow water enthusiast, and travel companion."
