Sydney Sweeney's natural beauty truly shines from within, as she boldly dispels any rumors of plastic surgery or cosmetic enhancements in a recent interview with Variety, published on October 27th. "I've never had any procedures done," she declares with a firmness that betrays her fear of needles. "I'm absolutely terrified of them. No tattoos, nothing. I'm embracing aging gracefully."

The 28-year-old actress, who stirred controversy this summer for her American Eagle ad campaign with the tagline "Sydney Sweeney has great jeans," continues to laugh off online comparisons. "I'm 12 in that photo. Of course I look different. I have makeup on now and I'm 15 years older," she quips, her tone light and playful.
As a teenager, Sweeney considered getting a breast reduction and was even advised to undergo Botox. "I have very strong eyebrow muscles," she says, furrowing her brow to emphasize her point. "And I had someone tell me to fix my face or else I wouldn't make it. I should get Botox. I was 16!"
Despite the public scrutiny, Sydney maintains a positive self-image, even as she packs on about 30 pounds of muscle to play boxer Christy Martin in the upcoming movie Christy. "I play a lot of very divisive characters, and I think a lot of people think they know me, but they don't," she says. "So when people think, 'Ah, she's a sex symbol,' or 'She's leaning into that,' I'm like, 'No, I just feel good and I'm doing it for myself and I feel strong.'"
She continues, "And I hope that I can inspire other women to be confident and just flaunt what they got and feel good because you shouldn't have to apologize or hide or cover up in any room." As she moves with confidence into the next phase of her career, Sydney is carefully considering the roles she takes on in Hollywood. In fact, she has even sparked rumors of playing a Bond girl in a new 007 film—but is that in the cards for her? "I can't," she says with a smile. "I don't know."
The White Lotus alum adds, "To be honest, I don't know all the Bond rumors, but I've always been a huge fan of the franchise, and I'm excited and curious to see what they do with it."
