Catelynn Lowell Baltierra's family is carrying on a cherished tradition. Nicholas Radtke, the 19-year-old brother of the Teen Mom alum, revealed that he and his girlfriend, Emma Smith, are expecting their first child together.
"Well, Santa has brought me the greatest gift I've ever received," Nick wrote on Instagram on Dec. 25. "I'm having a baby, y'all!" The soon-to-be teen dad also shared a Christmas card with pictures of him and his girlfriend holding a child's onesie outfit, writing alongside the snaps, "We're about to become a family of three! So happy to share that we're expecting! Baby Radtke coming soon!"

While neither Catelynn nor her husband, Tyler Baltierra—who first appeared on MTV's reality TV show 16 & Pregnant in 2009—chimed in on the announcement, fellow Teen Mom star Rachel Beaver shared her excitement for the couple. "Congratulations!! You're going to be the best parents," she wrote in the comments section. "I'm so happy for y'all."
Throughout the past year, Nick has been sharing his love for Emma on social media, proving that their relationship has been going strong for over a year. In fact, he kicked off 2025 with a picture of the pair together, writing on Instagram, "Going into 2025 with the person I fell in love with in '24."
Nick's relationship with Catelynn, however, is a different story. In January, he shared a video on Instagram set to Coldplay's "Sparks," which he captioned, "You know it's bad when people on the internet feel more like siblings than your actual siblings." Meanwhile, in 2023, Catelynn reacted to Nick's claims that Tyler makes derogatory comments about her weight, including calling her a "heifer."
"I'm putting this out here because my brother is continuously trying to build this 'fan base' that's based off of lies!" she wrote on Instagram in August 2023. "The ONLY person that has ever called me fat has been YOU!"
"I'm sharing this because if he wants to use my name for clout & to get followers," Catelynn continued. "It is what it is, but I at least want those people to know who they're following and what type of person they're actually supporting!"
