Chrissy Metz is embarking on a fresh quest for love, almost two years after her split from Bradley Collins was confirmed. The beloved "This is Us" alum recently opened up about her burgeoning romance in an interview with People, published on August 13th. "He's incredibly supportive and kind," Chrissy gushed about her unnamed partner. "I'm thinking, how is this relationship making me feel so good about myself? What's the hidden catch?" She disclosed that she and her electrical engineer beau have been an item for a year now.
Yet, Chrissy's life transformation doesn't end with her new love. She's also embarked on a new health journey, prioritizing meal prep and strength training. "I understand that thinness doesn't equate to happiness," the 44-year-old confided. "I aspire to embody health positivity. I never set out to be the poster child for body positivity. I advocate for a healthy body, not for extreme obesity or heroin chic."
Chrissy's love life update follows her and Bradley's amicable breakup announcement in October 2023, after more than three years together. "We've decided to peacefully end our romantic journey," they posted jointly on Instagram. "While our love remains deep, we believe this path serves us best. We still have stories to pen, melodies to sing, and a cherished friendship to cherish forever."
Another significant shift in her life? Balancing her time between Los Angeles and Nashville, Tennessee, after two decades on the West Coast. "Nashville offers proximity to everything," Chrissy elaborated to E! News in April. "You can attend multiple shows and dine at fantastic restaurants in one night. Nothing's more than a short drive away. It's wonderful."
"It's also about the quality of life," the Florida native continued. "The Southern hospitality reminds me of my upbringing. Nashville has many wonderful attributes."
Chrissy has also redirected her focus to other passions. "Work in Los Angeles has dried up," she explained to E!. "There aren't many shoots happening here lately. Plus, I've been focusing on music, and my family resides close by in Florida. So, I split my time between the two places."
Chrissy isn't the only celebrity bidding farewell to the Hollywood sign.
