Timothée Chalamet's familial aspirations are no secret. The 29-year-old, whose girlfriend Kylie Jenner is already a mom to two, may not have a crystal-clear vision of his life's trajectory, but fatherhood certainly looms large on his bucket list. As he candidly revealed to Vogue in an interview published on November 6, "It's definitely on the radar."
Despite his playful evasiveness, Timothée was more forthright in discussing other aspects of his life. Recalling an interview with an anonymous celebrity "bragging about not having kids and how much time it afforded them," the Dune star and his companion exclaimed, "Holy s--t. Oh my God. Bleak." While acknowledging that some may not be able to conceive, Timothée believes procreation is a fundamental aspect of human existence.

As for fans hoping for a glimpse into his life with Kylie or his dynamic with her children Stormi Webster, 7, and Aire Webster, 3, with ex-partner Travis Scott, the 29-year-old remained tightly lipped. "I don't say that with any fear," he said of guarding his personal life. "I just don't have anything to say."
The concept of love, however, holds a special place in Timothée's mind. He still ponders the exemplary marriage of a former classmate, Grace. "Her parents had the most beautiful, amazing marriage," he said. "It showed me that excellence can exist without being arduous."
This is an illustration of how Timothée is learning that reaching the pinnacle of his craft—a goal he has openly aspired to achieve—does not necessitate sacrificing his personal life. He cites Dune director Denis Villenueve as an example. "I'm just amazed by him," Timothée recalled. "It was his birthday, and one of his kids flew out as a surprise. He was hugging him and weeping on set. Denis is a total master of his craft, and he's a great family man."
While Timothée has directed his admiration outward in terms of success in love, others are looking at him with admiration too. In fact, his Marty Supreme costar Gwyneth Paltrow recently expressed her admiration for their relationship after learning they were dating on the film's set. "I was like, 'Do you have a girlfriend?'" she recalled in an interview with British Vogue published on October 15. "And he was like, 'I do.' He mentioned that she had kids and I was like, 'That's so cool. I really love to hear that [from] a young man like you.'"
"I understand a 45-year-old who has his own kids going out with a woman with kids," Gwyneth added. "But it's a cool choice to go out with a young woman who has two kids. I respect it. I think it's kind of punk rock."
