"Titanique," a dazzling Off-Broadway smash hit, is set to make its grand entrance on the Great White Way in the spring. This low-fi musical parody of James Cameron's epic disaster film, "Titanic," reimagines the movie's events from the perspective of pop diva Céline Dion, utilizing her iconic music to transport audiences back to the fateful night.

The show, which will run for 16 weeks at the St. James Theatre, previously home to the short-lived run of Kristin Chenoweth and Stephen Schwartz's "House of Versailles," will begin previews on March 26, with opening night set for April 12 and a closing date of July 12.

Marla Mindelle, the show's co-creator and a former Broadway star of "Sister Act" and "Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella," will reprise her role as Céline Dion with additional casting to be announced at a later date. Co-written by Tye Blue and Constantine Rousouli, "Titanique" delves into the question of "what really happened to Jack and Rose on that fateful night," while infusing Dion's greatest hits such as "My Heart Will Go On," "All By Myself," and "To Love You More."

The New York Times review hailed the show's wacky humor, stating that "Titanique" finds its true essence as it escalates into ever-increasing absurdity, with the actors competing to outdo one another in hamming it up.

Having debuted Off-Broadway in June 2022 and running for three years—first at the underground Asylum Theatre before transferring to the Daryl Roth Theatre—before closing in June 2025, "Titanique" also toured Sydney, London, Chicago, and Paris during its New York run. Blue will direct the Broadway production, with a creative team that includes choreographer Ellenore Scott ("Ragtime," "Funny Girl"), music supervisor, arranger, and orchestrator Nicholas James Connell; scenic designer Gabriel Hainer Evansohn and Grace Lauchbacher for Iron Bloom Creative Production; costume designer Alejo Vietti ("Beautiful," "Smash"), lighting designer Paige Seber; sound designer Lawrence Schober; and hair and wig designer Charles G. LaPointe ("Death Becomes Her"). The casting is handled by the Telsey Office and Rachel Hoffman.
