Tori Kelly has officially taken on the role of motherhood! The 32-year-old Grammy winner welcomed her first baby boy, Zayden Michael Murillo, into the world on Tuesday, November 11th, alongside her husband André Murillo. The exciting news was shared on Instagram in a heartfelt joint post, where the "shine on" singer gave a glimpse of her newborn son's tiny feet and a picture of him alongside their family's furry friends. "Zayden Michael Murillo. 11.11.25. we love you so much, sweet boy ♡," the couple wrote in their joint caption.

The couple first announced their joyous news with PEOPLE in July, when Kelly was expecting their new addition. "This year has already been full of highs—performing in stadiums all summer, writing the most personal songs of my career, and now starting a family with my amazing husband," Kelly shared with PEOPLE at the time, while on a European tour with Ed Sheeran. She added, "We are just so grateful for what's to come and can't wait to meet this little gift from God."
Alongside the announcement, Kelly released a video featuring her and Murillo embracing one another at home and on the beach, accompanied by a snippet of music from her upcoming project. The "Should've Been Us" artist and Murillo started dating in 2016 and announced their engagement the following September. They tied the knot in a private ceremony in May 2018, with Kelly referring to it as "the most magical day ever" shortly after their wedding.
Kelly's latest album, TORI., was released in April 2024—less than a year after she was unexpectedly hospitalized for life-threatening blood clots. Around the project's release, she told PEOPLE about feeling "amazing" and taking only "a simple medication" to stay well, while "going in for checkups" occasionally following her July 2023 hospitalization. "When I look at just my life, my career, and getting to go on these tours, I'm just like, 'I don't want to take anything for granted because life as I now have experienced is so fragile,'" said Kelly at the time. "I'm just holding people a little closer."
