“My palms were absolutely slick with sweat,” Travis confessed to Erin Andrews in a Sept. 14 interview for Fox Sports. “I’m an emotional guy, so there were a few tears sprinkled here and there, but honestly, it’s been an exhilarating journey leading up to this very day.” He added with a smile, “I can’t wait to spend every single day of the rest of my life with her.”
Though Erin acknowledged that the NFL star proudly considers himself “the happiest guy in the world,” she pressed on, inquiring about how the pop icon has amplified that joy. “She’s brought an infectious excitement and a zest for life that’s transformed me into a better man,” Travis gushed, his eyes shining. “She’s made me a better person and helped me embrace who I truly am with newfound confidence.”
Travis’s latest reflections on his blossoming romance with Taylor come nearly three weeks after the duo—who first ignited romance rumors in the summer of 2023—shared their engagement news alongside a dreamy photo series. In the snapshots, Travis is seen down on one knee in a whimsical garden adorned with cascades of pink and white roses.
In their joint Instagram post on Aug. 26, the couple wrote with a playful touch, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” Since then, the 35-year-old athlete has shown no hesitation in showcasing his elation over this major relationship milestone.
“I’m so grateful for everyone who reached out, sent their love, and contributed to all the posts and excitement swirling around,” Travis shared with his brother, Jason Kelce, during the Sept. 3 episode of their New Heights podcast. “It’s been incredibly fun telling the world who I’ll be spending forever with... It’s been absolutely amazing.”
