Zach Bryan Hops Barbed-Wire Fence to Fight Gavin Adcock Amid Ongoing Feud

Zach Bryan and Gavin Adcock found themselves locked in a face-to-face confrontation. Just moments before the "Last One to Know" singer was slated to grace the stage at the Born & Raised Festival in Pryor, Oklahoma, he and his fellow country music artist were embroiled in a tense altercation amidst their ongoing feud.

"Hey, do you want to fight like a man?" Zach, 29, challenged Gavin, 26, as they stood on opposite sides of a wire fence, as captured in a video shared on Gavin’s social media. "Come open the gate." The "Something in the Orange" crooner could then be seen menacingly shoving the fence in Gavin’s direction. "When you get death threats from Sack Cryin before you headline in his hometown," Gavin quipped over the Instagram clip posted on September 13, before adding in the caption, "Eat a Snickers, bro."

In another video of the incident shared on Facebook, Zach could even be seen scaling a barbed-wire fence and lunging toward Gavin, only to be restrained by security.

So, what sparked the months-long rivalry between these two musicians? It all began when Gavin seemingly took Zach to task for his reaction to a fan on social media who had criticized him for not stopping to greet fans after one of his concerts. "If you can’t handle the criticism of a 14-year-old, why do people idolize you?" Gavin wrote on X (formerly Twitter) in July. "That kid was head over heels to meet you... He’s got feelings too, and you’re a 'grown man' nearly 30. They’re the only reason you are around."

Although Gavin didn’t name Zach specifically in his initial post, Bryan fired back with a response that has since been deleted. As he wrote on X at the time, per Whiskey Riff, "You’re not entitled to a picture or a hello after someone plays two and a half hours. GOMD (Get Over My D***)."

Nevertheless, Gavin later reiterated his criticism of the "Pink Skies" singer’s demeanor. "It wasn’t about not wanting to sign autographs after a show," he stated on Rolling Stone’s Nashville Now podcast last month. "It’s like letting a 14-year-old kid rant without saying, ‘Get off my d***.’ You’re bigger than that."

He also went on to accuse Zach of donning "a big mask" for the public. "Sometimes he can’t help but rip it off and show his true colors," he added. "I don’t know if Zach Bryan’s really that great of a person."
