A man named Omar Muhanna has dragged Travis Scott into court, accusing one of the rapper's security guards of violently assaulting him, while Travis' team flatly dismisses the lawsuit as baseless. Fresh legal documents, secured by TMZ, reveal Muhanna's account of being outside a "concert venue" where Travis performed, when he alleges that one of the rapper's security detail subjected him to severe physical aggression.

Muhanna contends that he was an innocent bystander, having done nothing to provoke or catalyze the alleged attack and battery, which he claims transpired on August 17, 2024, in Manhattan, leaving him with grave and enduring injuries. On that very day, Travis indeed appeared at Fanatics Fest at the Javits Center in Manhattan, albeit Muhanna insists the assault occurred a couple of blocks away from the venue.

A representative for Travis informed TMZ that the rapper was nowhere near the scene as he was indoors at a restaurant when the alleged incident unfolded outdoors. Notably, the lawsuit doesn't implicate Travis directly in any wrongdoing; rather, it targets his decision to hire a security firm that employed the guard at the heart of the controversy. Travis' reps are denouncing the lawsuit as a "frivolous" endeavor.

Muhanna further alleges that the security guard has a history of such conduct, implying a "propensity for the type of behavior" that led to his alleged injuries. He asserts that Travis should never have entrusted the guard with such responsibilities and is now seeking damages for the ordeal.
