Tristan Thompson Says the Mothers of His Kids Are "All Friends"

In Tristan Thompson's tribe, there's no hint of discord. The NBA player, who shares his daughter True, 7, and son Tatum, 3, with ex-partner Khloe Kardashian, and his sons Prince, 9, with Jordan Craig, and Theo, 4, with Maralee Nichols, has recently revealed that his relationships with the mothers of his children are better than ever. In fact, the dynamics are so "great" that all three women get along splendidly.

"We're all friends," the 35-year-old said on the March 31 episode of The Katie Miller Podcast. "Ultimately, we're all family. We have each other's contact information. We're all in a fantastic place because I believe that's the most important thing."

"No matter how you slice it or how you want to put it together, we're all connected," he added. "We're all family, and our kids are all siblings. They're going to be in each other's lives for a long time."

Despite his past cheating scandals involving these women, Tristan emphasized that they don't hold any resentment towards each other. "All of us are mature enough to understand what's most important," he said. "And it's our little tribe."

Tristan started dating Jordan in 2014 but split with her two years later after cheating on her with Khloe. At the time, Jordan, who was pregnant with Prince, welcomed their son in December 2016. Tristan then dated Khloe on and off for six years, but their relationship was plagued by multiple infidelities.

Days before True was born in April 2018, photos and videos emerged of the pro athlete cheating on Khloe with other women. Though Khloe gave him a second chance, they broke up again in February 2019 amid claims that Tristan cheated with Jordyn Woods, Kylie Jenner's best friend. After rekindling their romance and even secretly getting engaged, Khloe and Tristan split for a final time after she discovered that he had fathered Theo with Maralee in December 2021, while they were preparing to welcome Tatum via surrogate.

But these days, Tristan has nothing but respect for the mothers of his children and finds co-parenting with them to be a breeze. "Co-parenting is great," he told Katie Miller on her podcast. "The mothers of my children have been amazing. The beauty is that we're all mature enough to understand that we all want to be great parents. And we're all on the same line of communication."

Noting that they all "want the best for our children," Tristan explained, "It's very easy to co-parent when you have the same beliefs that you want the best for the kids. And we're all mature enough to understand that life is life. As long as you have a strong support system and our tribe is tight and we have each other's back, that's the most beautiful thing."

Calling Khloe, Maralee, and Jordan "phenomenal" women, the former Cleveland Cavaliers player added, "They're great. They make my life easy."
