Victoria Beckham and David Beckham are reminiscing about a simpler time. After photographer Platon Antoniou shared a few snaps from a 2006 photoshoot with David, the couple, who share children Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, 26, Romeo Beckham, 23, Cruz Beckham, 20, and Harper Beckham, 14, looked back on fond memories with their boys before their family feud began.
"These photos bring back great memories," commented the Spice Girls alum, 51, under the famed photographer's Jan. 24 Instagram post, while David echoed the same sentiment, writing, "Good memories @platon."

At the time these photos were taken, Platon traveled to Madrid to photograph David, 50, who was at the peak of his soccer career (and his dad duties). "That day his family came to visit," wrote Platon in the caption of the post, which featured black-and-white throwback photos of the athlete. "Victoria arrived with Brooklyn, who was seven years old, Romeo, who was four, and Cruz, who was just a baby. Brooklyn and Romeo charged into the studio wearing football kits, kicking balls, doing headers and other tricks."
"At one point, Brooklyn ran on set with his football under his arm and hugged his dad's right leg," he recalled. "Then, Romeo joined his older brother. Then, Victoria also appeared with baby Cruz in her arms. The whole family turned away from us for a private heartfelt group hug."
The photographer, 57, remembered being struck by the family's affection for one another. "Celebrity comes with a heavy price and often it is family members who also pay," he continued. "To see this tenderness was very moving and I knew it would make a beautiful picture, especially as this famous family were not facing my camera."
David and Victoria's trip down memory lane comes after Brooklyn, who tied the knot with Nicola Peltz Beckham in April 2022, detailed his estrangement from his family in a candid Jan. 19 social media statement.
While Platon explained how he didn't end up snapping the touching moment between the young family because Victoria was "not here as a celebrity," but as a "mother," he opted to take a photo of the soccer star's back, where he has his kids' names tattooed. "I'm normally drawn to eyes, but when we can't see the face we search for other clues that may reveal someone's humanity," added the visual artist. "In this picture, although David stands alone, we see the love of his children tattooed onto his back."
"Family is everything," he continued. "David Beckham, I salute you."
