Was Barron Trump Rejected From Harvard? The White House Says…

Barron Trump had never envisioned himself becoming a Harvard alumnus. Just hours after President Donald Trump announced his intention to slash nearly $100 million in federal contracts for Harvard, Melania Trump's team swiftly quashed rumors suggesting that the May 27th decision was sparked by their 19-year-old son's rejection from the prestigious Ivy League institution, following his freshman year at New York University's Stern School of Business.

"Barron did not submit an application to Harvard," Nick Clemens, the spokesperson for the Office of the First Lady, clarified in a statement to E! News. "Any claim stating that he or anyone on his behalf applied is utterly false." E! News reached out to Harvard for a comment, but as of yet, no response has been received.

While much of Barron's life has remained shrouded in secrecy, his parents have occasionally offered rare glimpses into the teenager's world over the years.

"I am incredibly proud of him for his profound knowledge, even in the realm of politics, where he offers advice to his father," Melania gushed during a December appearance on Fox & Friends. "He understands his generation better than most; today's youth no longer vegetate in front of the TV. They are glued to their tablets and smartphones."

In March, Trump elaborated on his son's technological prowess. "I turn off his laptop," he recounted to Fox News host Laura Ingraham, "and within five minutes, he's back on it. I ask, 'How do you manage that?' and he replies, 'None of your business, dad,'" Trump said, adding that Barron possesses "an astonishing talent for technology."

Barron's sophistication extends far beyond his years, as attested by Nathan Pearce, a designer who collaborated with the college student for Trump's second inauguration. "In terms of experience, knowledge, and historical awareness, he's light-years ahead of his peers," Pearce shared with Women’s Wear Daily in January. "He's an absolutely fascinating conversationalist."

"Place him in a room with seasoned businessmen, and he'll hold his own," he continued. "He can engage them in conversation for hours on end because he's witty, intelligent, and possesses a dry wit."

Barron is certainly making waves in the fashion industry, too.
