Erin Andrews simply couldn't contain her excitement regarding Taylor Swift's album, "The Life of a Showgirl." Specifically, she was blown away by the daring photoshoot Taylor embarked on with photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott for the album cover. Taylor, adorned in an array of barely-there showgirl ensembles, ranging from a sparkling bra top to a shimmering red bodysuit complete with fishnets, stole the show.

"Oh, my god!" Erin gushed on the August 21st episode of her and Charissa Thompson's "Calm Down" podcast. "We texted her, 'Good morning!' but really meant, 'Body-ody, incredible body!'" The sportscaster went on, "She looked absolutely stunning."

Erin's co-host Charissa echoed her sentiments, raving about the 35-year-old Taylor, who was "looking like a million bucks." With a playful quip, Charissa added, "(Parentheses) 'heads to gym,' me too—incredible!"

Both Erin, 47, and Charissa, 43, also had kind words for Travis Kelce, praising him for being Taylor's cheerleader when she unveiled the album cover on his "New Heights" podcast earlier this month. "When she was announcing all the song titles," Charissa noted, "Travis was chiming in, 'Banger, banger, banger.'" She added affectionately, "Trav, you're adorable."

Why did Taylor embrace the showgirl aesthetic? It all ties back to her sold-out Eras Tour, during which she recorded "The Life of a Showgirl." "This album encapsulates what was happening behind the scenes, in my inner life during this tour," Taylor explained on the August 13th episode of "New Heights." "It was so exuberant, electric, and vibrant." She continued, "It stems from the most infectiously joyful, wild, and dramatic phase of my life, and that effervescence shines through on this record."

In fact, Taylor revealed that the album cover, featuring her submerged in a bathtub while wearing a glittery bustier, mirrors her feelings upon returning to her hotel to unwind after a concert. "After such an exhilarating night, you won't be able to hit the hay until 4 AM," the Grammy winner mused. "But you've navigated 50 million hoops in the obstacle course that is your show. And you did it—twice in a row. You nailed it tonight."
