**Blessed be Elisabeth Moss' Change of Heart**

Before she became synonymous with her role as June in "The Handmaid's Tale," Moss revealed that she seriously considered turning down the offer to star in Hulu's Emmy-winning adaptation of Margaret Atwood's dystopian book series. The 43-year-old actress reflected on this unique situation during a "Watch What Happens Live" interview on March 22nd. "That was right after 'Mad Men'," she said. "I wasn't expecting to do another series so quickly because I had done that for nine years. So, it was just a very quick, 'Wow, we're doing that! And we're signing that contract,' kind of thing."

So, what prompted the Golden Globe winner to reconsider taking the job? "I almost turned it down, and then they threatened me with who they were going to ask next," Moss continued before telling host Andy Cohen, "I will tell you after, but I will not tell any of you. And I was like, 'No, way!'" While Moss initially thought, "It was after 'Mad Men,' it was like, 'How do you follow that?'" she ultimately accepted the role. And the rest is Hollywood history.

While June's journey to take down the Gilead patriarchy concluded when the sixth and final season of "The Handmaid's Tale" aired last year, Moss stayed tight-lipped when asked if she thought her character should have ended up with Nick (Max Minghella) or Luke (O-T Fagbenle). "I'm not gonna answer that now that we're done," she told viewers. "I cannot answer it, but I do think that I was the luckiest girl in the world to have the choice between these two men."

Looking ahead, Cohen suggested Moss reunite with former "Mad Men" costar Christina Hendricks for a spinoff following the two ad agency mavens teaming up for their own career venture. And Moss is totally down. "I loved the idea then and I love it now," she gushed. "I'm not a person who's precious about, 'I couldn't possibly return to that work.' I loved that character. I think it's a great idea. I loved working with Christina and I loved the dynamic between those two characters."

While viewers wait for that script to be written, fans can catch Moss co-starring alongside Kate Mara in Apple TV's new drama "Imperfect Women."
