Machine Gun Kelly, alias Colson Baker, has made it clear that family comes first. The crooner behind the hit "Cliché" revealed on the red carpet of the 2025 American Music Awards that he would be making an early exit to attend to his and Megan Fox's two-month-old bundle of joy, who was battling a slight fever. "She's not feeling quite herself with a bit of a temperature," he confidentially shared with E! News. "So, I'll just stroll down the carpet and head back to take care of business. I'll pass on my pheromones and let her bounce back." While emphasizing that their daughter is otherwise "wonderful," he affectionately added, "I was meant to be a dad. This is truly my calling." MGK, donning black trousers, a vest over a crisp white shirt, Converse sneakers, and a pearl necklace, was set to present at the awards ceremony. March saw him welcoming this new chapter in his personal life with Megan. Amidst this, he's also been hard at work on his upcoming album, recently releasing the single "Cliché" on May 23.
"It's a real banger, man," he gushed to E!. "I'm blown away by how people have embraced my music, which often puzzles them initially but later resonates deeply." This sentiment has led the 35-year-old, who also co-parents 15-year-old Casie with his ex, Emma Cannon, to draw parallels between being a musician and a visual artist.
"My gallery should never stagnate with repeated pieces," he elaborated. "I strive to curate an experience where fans yearn to return, like visiting a museum to see what's on display next." And for this era, that includes unleashing his boyband-inspired dance moves.
"I've got a touch of John Travolta in me," he joked. "Eventually, I aspire to evolve into a Michael Jackson-level dancer, but we'll see where it takes me."
