The Pritchett-Dunphy clan found solace in Phil's-Osophy to navigate their post-show challenges, with Sofia Vergara reflecting on her inseparable bond with her Modern Family castmates. She admitted that after the show's finale in 2020, they briefly drifted apart, with Sofia sharing, "The cast kind of got separated because we finished, and two weeks later, everything shut down for COVID. We got disconnected really fast."

Despite this setback, the 53-year-old actress, who played Gloria Pritchett alongside a stellar ensemble including Ed O'Neill, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Sarah Hyland, Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Ariel Winter, Rico Rodriguez, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, and Nolan Gould, didn't let it dampen their tight-knit relationship. In fact, Sofia reunited with nearly the entire cast for a dinner party in November 2023, and since that initial get-together, the group has created even more memories on and off-camera.

From presenting at the 2024 Screen Actors Guild Awards last February to planning a "big party" for Eric Stonestreet, 54, and his wife Lindsay Schweitzer, who tied the knot in September, the Modern Family family remains as close as ever. Sofia expressed her excitement for Eric's big day, gushing, "I'm super excited [for him]."

While fans can't expect a reboot of the ABC sitcom, Sofia will always root for her onscreen family. "Everything we do, we are connected in a giant chat with all the kids and all the actors," she told E! News on October 18. "And we're always watching each other, supporting each other." But that connection doesn't end with her former castmates; Sofia still adores the character she played in the show's 11 seasons. In fact, she's already envisioned all the goals Gloria, Ed's Jay Pritchett, and their kids have accomplished since the finale. "Jay and Gloria would be getting ready for Manny to already have left for college," Sofia explained. "That would have been, I'm sure, a really, really fun season, just having Jay and Gloria together with little Joe."
