Taking a step back from the road, Yungblud is faced with a sudden and unexpected setback. On Saturday, November 15, the Doncaster-born musician, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, shared a poignant post on his Instagram Stories, revealing that a doctor had ordered him to cancel the remainder of his 2025 Idols World Tour dates.

Despite feeling "truly unbelievable" and "lucky" about his life and career this year, Yungblud shared that he needed to prioritize his health. "This week, when I returned home from the road and underwent some tests (as I usually do), my voice and blood tests raised some concerns," he wrote. "It's in my nature to push myself until I run myself into the ground without a second thought about anything but the music and you guys. But this time, I've been told I have to take it seriously and can't play around."

He informed fans that U.S. tickets would be refunded, and those who share an address would receive a "gift." "My heart is broken," Yungblud wrote. "I don't want to do any lasting damage to myself. We are on a journey that I want to last forever. I understand that some of you will be frustrated. But please know this is so hard for me to do, but I promise I will make it up to you."

He added, "I never take anyone's love support or energy for granted. You know you are everything to me. But I need this time." Yungblud then noted that he would see fans in the U.S. "next year" and was already looking forward to shows "that will be more affordable for next year" in Mexico and Latin America. "It's gonna be unbelievable," he wrote. "I can't wait."

Yungblud's canceled shows include stops in Philadelphia on November 19, Cleveland on November 23, and Washington, D.C. on November 25 and 26, as well as dates in Mexico City and various Latin American locations.

Last month, Yungblud shared his collaboration with Aerosmith on the track "My Only Angel," which will be featured on a five-song collaborative EP titled One More Time, due out on November 21. This marks Aerosmith's first new work since their 2012 album Music From Another Dimension!
