Zayn Malik has unveiled that his daughter, Khai, plays a significant role in his collaboration with BLACKPINK's Jisoo for the soulful track, "Eyes Closed." In a recent interview with SiriusXM's "The Pulse," the English crooner revealed that his daughter is a huge fan of K-pop singers.

"She's into TWICE, she's into BLACKPINK, and that was actually a major reason behind my decision to feature Jisoo," Zayn candidly shared. "To be honest, my daughter is such a big fan, and I wanted to be cool for her. I earned some good dad points for that, so yeah, for sure. She loves it. I always think about her when I'm making music, and she loves singing and dancing too," he added.
Zayn also revealed that his daughter enjoys his music and often gives feedback. "I don't want to play my music for her because there are curse words and adult concepts, but she loves my music and definitely gives me an opinion," said the "Kiss You" crooner.
It's worth noting that Zayn is currently promoting his upcoming fifth studio album, "KONNAKOL," which is set to be released on April 17, 2026.
The context paints a picture of a father-daughter bond that transcends generations through shared musical interests and experiences. Zayn's desire to be "cool" for his daughter and her appreciation for his music create a heartwarming and inspiring narrative that resonates with audiences.
