Zendaya unleashes her inner British without a hitch. In the midst of whispers that she and Tom Holland have snuck into marriage, the Euphoria star revealed that she's been honing her British accent more than ever, and her The Drama costar Robert Pattinson is taken aback. After all, Rob exclusively told E! News' Erin Lim Rhodes at the March 17 Los Angeles premiere of their movie that Zendaya is "an honorary English person."
As for her most English quality? "Recently, it's been my damn accent," Zendaya quipped. "I keep doing it, like out of nowhere. I just say very British things or say things with a very British inflection, and it's happening, guys. It's happening."

Joking about her transformation into a full-fledged Brit, Robert added, "She's turning." And The Batman actor would be a reliable source. After all, the duo has spent plenty of time together while filming The Odyssey and Dune: Part Three—both of which release later this year.
"I've always been a huge fan of his work and the choices that he makes, so I was super excited to do this with you," she explained to Rob about working together on The Drama, in theaters April 3. Later adding, "I'm definitely a big Rob fan, and although we've had 70,000 projects this year, I hope we do it again."
Zendaya's title as an honorary Brit may also have to do with her long-term romance with Tom, a UK-native whom Zendaya's stylist Law Roach recently claimed she secretly married. While Tom and Zendaya, 29, have yet to address his comments, The Greatest Showman actress played into the media frenzy surrounding her love life with her latest fashion choice.
Explaining why she recycled a bridal-esque gown from the 2015 Oscars to wear to the premiere, she shared that there's nothing accidental about her stunning look. "I was brainstorming with Law about how I would theme dress for this film," Zendaya told Variety on March 17. "And I remembered the saying, 'Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. So, this is my something old."
