Zendaya's mother seems to be exuberant about her daughter's intimate wedding to Tom Holland. Just a day after Zendaya's stylist, Law Roach, revealed that the couple had quietly tied the knot, her mom, Claire Stoermer, chimed in on his comments. She shared Law's interview from the Actor Awards red carpet on March 1st, where he disclosed that Zendaya and Tom's wedding "already happened." Claire added a laughing emoji to poke fun at the stylist's playful response on her Instagram Story. She also cryptically wrote, "The laugh...."
Indeed, Law's comments sent fans into a frenzy as the two actors, who confirmed their romance in 2021, may have tied the knot without letting the world know. However, it's not entirely surprising, considering the Spider-Man costars have kept their romance under wraps for years. "Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible," Tom, 29, told The Hollywood Reporter in June 2023. "We don't think that we owe it to anyone; it's our thing."
Law, 47, even previously teased that Zendaya, 29, would be a "secret bride" whenever their big day arrived. "The process hasn't even started yet," Law told E! News in July. "Zendaya is working on so many movies. She's now filming the next iteration of Dune, so she's away doing that. It's so many movies, so we have time. We have a lot of time."
Though he remained cryptic, the fashion expert noted that he was "really excited" about the pair's nuptials, adding, "They really love each other and they have for a really long time. The fact that the world has been able to share in that love story, I think it's really beautiful."
But as it turns out, Law isn't the only person who may have hinted at their secret wedding. Just two weeks before the stylist made his comments, Zendaya stepped out wearing a gold band on her left ring finger. The jewelry was noticeably different from her engagement ring, which was a 5.02-carat east-west cushion-cut diamond ring by British jewelry designer Jessica McCormack.
Regardless of when they made their forever official, Tom has long known that Zendaya was worth keeping close. "I'm lucky that I have someone like Zendaya in my life," the actor said during his Smartless podcast appearance in 2023. "It's interesting being in a romantic relationship with someone that is in the same boat as you." As he put it, "You can share your experiences and all that sort of stuff—and that's worth its weight in gold."
