On the occasion of Jonathan Scott's 48th birthday, Zooey Deschanel paid a heartfelt tribute to her fiancé by sharing a series of adorable photos on her Instagram. The New Girl actress took to her social media platform on Tuesday to wish her beloved a Happy Birthday, writing, "Happy Birthday @jonathanscott, can't wait to celebrate you. I'm truly so lucky."
The post was filled with several selfies of the couple embracing and kissing, creating a picture-perfect display of their love. Two of the selfies were taken during a boat ride on vacation, showcasing their joy and excitement for the special day.
For those who may not be aware, Zooey and Jonathan got engaged in August 2023. In November, Jonathan revealed in an interview with People magazine that they haven't made "any plans yet" for their wedding. He said, "We literally haven't made any plans yet. We're busy with all of the kids' stuff, and so we're really just chauffeurs to the kids' social lives." However, he added that they have a lot of things they want to do for their big day.
Deschanel is a proud mother of two children, daughter Elsie, 10, and son Charlie, 8, whom she shares with her ex-husband Jacob Pechenik.
