Episode 6 of 1992 kicks off with Richi's arrival at the strip club, where he promptly makes his way to the office. There, he discovers the owner lying lifeless on the floor, charred and unmistakably the victim of our ruthless killer, Victor. Meanwhile, Victor slips into Madrid without a trace, leaving Amparo and Richi scrambling to intercept the Minister before disaster strikes.
The mounting deaths and the overwhelming blackmail have driven the Minister to a desperate measure: leveraging his wife Teresa's family to secure the funds needed to silence the killer. As Victor storms the estate, unleashing his flamethrower on the guards stationed outside, the Minister receives a chilling call, alerting him to the killer's presence at his doorstep. Gunshots ring out in the background as Victor efficiently dispatches every guard in his path.
Eventually, Victor confronts the Minister, who cowers in his office, armed with a tiny gun, ready to make a final stand. A thrilling chase unfolds through the mansion's corridors, culminating in Teresa locking herself in the panic room while Victor sets her husband ablaze right in front of a bookshelf. Miraculously, despite the inferno, the house remains standing, and the Minister manages to stumble outside, writhing in agony.
Teresa emerges from the panic room, narrowly escaping the flames licking the bookshelf's exterior. Her timely exit coincides with Richi and Amparo's arrival. They grill her about the Minister and she recounts the mysterious phone call that saved her life. Realizing this could be a pivotal lead, they rush to Manchado's place to run the details through the system. They uncover a phone number linked to Seville and an address pointing to a phone booth. Without hesitation, the duo boards a train bound for the city.
Elsewhere, Victor finds himself on the same train, tears streaming down his face as he watches footage of the night his mother perished. Unbeknownst to him, Victoria is still alive, and with Victor constantly on the move, his time is running out. What a twist of fate: he ends up sharing the same train compartment with Richi and Amparo. What an incredible coincidence!
Victoria isn't the sole player in this dramatic unfolding, as Carmen also steps onto the same train, her instincts tinged with suspicion. It is within this confines of the train that we unravel the hidden alliance between Victoria and Victor, revealing that she not only connived with him but also egged him on to seek vengeance against their peers. Victoria meticulously crafted Victor into her instrument of wrath, standing as a silent observer while he orchestrated the explosion in her office, cleverly shielding herself in the bathtub to evade the brunt of the blast. The entire spectacle, from the torn attire and self-inflicted wounds to the dramatic thigh piercing, was a meticulously staged charade. Utilizing a voice-distortion device, Victoria herself dialed the Minister, employing this elaborate setup as an escape route.
Tragedy strikes as Victoria ultimately succumbs to Victor's fiery wrath on the train, while Victor descends into a frenzy, his flamethrower scorching the train's roof. The inferno fails to ignite a catastrophic fireball but instead, reduces a couple of luggage bags to ashes. When his flamethrower ceases to function, Victor slams the emergency brake, causing a chaotic jolt that sends passengers flying through the train carriages.
In the midst of the confusion, Amparo seizes a gun and targets the fuel canister strapped to Victor's back. The explosion tears a gaping hole through the train, and amid the chaos, some passengers are carried off on stretchers, presumably fatalities of the blast.
Meanwhile, at their lair, the police arrive to discover another charred corpse lying abandoned in the drains. The Flamethrower Murders saga reaches its grim conclusion, and Teresa seizes the moment, positioning herself as a candidate for a nascent political party founded on the bedrock of honesty and integrity.
Richi embarks on a journey of sobriety, vowing to abandon alcohol. His bond with Amparo deepens as she decides to pursue a law degree. Months of sobriety have led Richi to seek rehabilitation, and the two share a newfound admiration for each other. Though it may be too soon for a relaxed dinner together, they pledge to stay in touch, heralding a fresh chapter in their lives.
